This Dragon Stumgeschutz was build up somewhere around 2008. Was quite a pleasure to build this up as I recall. I used this Sturmgun (and its cousins) during many wargame engagements. During the years this Gun lost some colour. It faded - don´t know why. Just thought to set it back to life with some winter white wash and place it in a little dio. I use Tamiya white on hairspray. Do like the results. The Infantry man is from the Ceasars "Winter set" which is getting somehow rare these days.

Here is the next pair of Winter Grendiers. These are white metal figures from UK company CPM. Size is 20mm. Casting of these is quite good - maybe the pointing finger looks a bit overzised. CPM figures are availeable via:
The base was made from styrofoam plus liquitex modelling plaster painted with dark earth colours. The ivy leaves are from the silflour range. The snow baking powder (again).

Long time gone since I build up any decent German infantry. These are "Winter-Grenadiers" from the Caesar range. Can´t get enough of these Caeser germans ... and well I am one of those "like mnded men" hoping for more Caeser Germans coming along. Set these men on a little base with much winter feeling. Well we had good late-summer Day with 27degrees of celsius outside - so "winter" might be strange... but boys it is coming. Can feel it in my old bones when riding my street bike in the early stages of day.
Looking foreward to have more Winter germans during the next days.
The "Comic" is from Comics Life 2 - an extremly usefull Mac Appliction.
The bushes are from Woodland Scenics plus Silflour/Silhouette.
The snow is plain baking soda.
